The Eurillo Wedding

Couple: Russell and Taylor Eurillo (armfield)

Wedding Date: May 28, 2016

Location: Proximity Hotel, Greensboro, NC

The Wedding Dress: Private Label by Kenneth Winston, style 1585

Photography: Yasmin Leonard

More Details: We had a simple, yet elegant theme for our big day. Our venue was beautifully decorated already, so we simply added a little of our color to make it ours. We had about 120 guests comprised of family and close friends, which kept the good times going all night. We had a great DJ who helped surprise me during one dance. My groom and a few of his friends sat me in a chair in the middle of the floor. The song “Lovers and Friends” started playing and our friends sang to me while my husband took my garter off. Everyone was dying laughing and it seemed to be the highlight of the reception. Our photographer could not have been better, and there truly is no value you could put on her and her work that would be enough. She was the first to arrive and the last to leave, and was everywhere at once. We also set up had a candy bar, vintage soda bottles, a photo booth, and a caricature artist for a simple kind of fun for everyone. We ended with a send off that was unforgettable — walking past all of our friends and family feeling their love and support. It was truly a perfect night!

I fell in love with my wedding dress the minute I put it on. The sweetheart neckline and embellished top were exactly what I was looking for. The tulle skirt was simple, but that’s what I loved about it. I paired the dress with a simple cathedral veil. Together, they made me feel like a princess. The way I always imagined I would feel on my wedding day.

2017 Bridesmaid Dress Trends from NYB&G

If you are seeking sensational bridesmaid dress options for your best ladies, New York Bride & Groom has everything you need to pull your wedding ensemble together. With over 15,000 square feet of designer wedding gowns, bridesmaids’ dresses and even a separate tuxedo department, rest assured that we are your one-stop wedding shop.

Jim Hjelm Occasions, style 5703: To get an idea of the beautiful garments we offer, look no further than our featured dress (pictured above). This mauve, English net, A-line bridesmaid gown features a silver metallic-lace bodice, sheer-draped shoulder, natural waist, and a gathered skirt.

One-Shoulder Security

We just love it when practicality and style come together in the hottest trends, which definitely includes one-strap dresses this season. While strapless gowns are timeless, they are not always ideal for bustier brides or bridesmaids. Opting for a single shoulder strap can do wonders for everyone who wants to get down on the dance floor without worrying about a wardrobe malfunction. NYB&G has a wide selection of gorgeous one-shoulder bridesmaid gowns to choose from. Such as the beauty below:

Social Bridesmaids, style 8178: This figure-flattering full-length, one-shoulder matte chiffon dress (pictured right) is available with matching or contrasting trim at the neckline. An off-center front slit in the luxurious trumpet skirt adds an element of sophistication.

Here are some 2017 bridesmaid dress trends, courtesy of Bridal Guide:

Go monochromatic with a plum jewel tone and pair it with a lighter shade of bouquets.

If you want a dramatic color but you don’t want to commit to a dark shade, try gunmetal for an elegant option.

Navy is the new black. It’s classic but with a pop of color in the shoes, it’s beyond fabulous!

Black dresses are purely chic, but do try pops of color on your bouquet to make a bold statement. See more at Bridal Guide

D’Zage Bridesmaids, style 8075: This chiffon gown (pictured right) features a sweetheart neckline, one gathered shoulder strap, ruched bodice and a cummerbund. Asymmetrical pleats and cascading ruffle adorn the skirt.

These trend tips are from Inspired By This:

Lace Details

Lace is no longer just for the bride! Bridesmaids want in on the detail too, so expect to see more lace bridesmaid dress styles with lace detail. A lace neckline or pretty keyhole back is a bridesmaid detail that looks oh ultra pretty, but doesn’t take away from the bride.

Sophisticated Neutrals

Expect to see a lot of neutral bridesmaid dresses this year – A lot! Think sand, silver, taupe, and everything in between. In elegant silhouettes, neutral dresses are a beautiful bet that will never go out of style. Read more at Inspired By This

Jim Hjelm Occasions, style 5709: Every bridesmaid will look stunning in this burgundy English net, A-line gown (pictured above) with pleated bodice, V-neckline, natural waist and gathered skirt.

Long, straight bridesmaid dresses in soft fabrics are wedding staples, but if you want a break from tradition, why not try a dress with a tiered skirt? They add just the right amount of drama and are perfect for dancing the night away.

Tea-length dresses (or dresses with a hemline that falls just below the knee or brushes the lower calf) are having a serious moment. This semiformal length gives off fun, retro vibes but still feels sophisticated. Opt for airy fabrics like tulle or chiffon for a tutu-inspired effect.

Whether the dress is simple or embellished, a fun flutter sleeve adds a vintage twist. Choose gowns in soft floral patterns, muted colors or feminine metallics to complement this romantic silhouette. Additional info at The Knot

5.0: I tried on several designers but was drawn back to Maggie every time. It is absolutely amazing to get this craftsmanship and quality for such an affordable price! My dress was stunning and fit like a glove.

5.0: I purchased my Maggie Sottero gown in South Portland, ME. I am a little more on the curvy side, so looking for a dress was not something I was looking forward to. I went in to the process very skeptical of finding one that would make me truly feel beautiful. I tried on a couple from other designers and just didn’t fall in love. My stylist pulled out the Maggie Soterro dress and told me to trust her. She was right. I put it on and immediately fell in love. I just loved the way it didn’t hide my curves but exentuated them. There were so many tears shed between me and my family that were there to see me say, “yes!” to the dress. I just know my fiance will love seeing me in it and I can’t wait until he does!

5.0: There just are not words for how beautiful Maggie Sottero designs are. Beyond that, the quality of the dresses is incredible. So well crafted, so intricately gorgeous, and so unique! Find more reviews at Wedding Wire

A sheer tulle godet, also accented with lace appliqués, adds a touch of romance to the gown‘s train. Finished with covered buttons over zipper closure. Available colors: White, Ivory (pictured). Sottero and Midgley, style Tristan/Gemma (separates): Bodysuit: This sexy and romantic bodysuit features scattered lace appliqués over an illusion sweetheart neckline, illusion cap-sleeves, and illusion open back. Finished with crystal button closure. Skirt: Ballgown skirt features voluminous layers of tulle, pick-ups, and lace appliqués, and is accented with Yaron Mikado waistband. Finished with zipper closure. Available colors: Ivory over Nude (pictured), Dark Ivory (pictured), Ivory. See more at Sottero and Midgley
